NET GUARDS International SubSea has pioneered the development of two net guards designed to protect crossing bridges,
pipelines and well heads. The patented “SubSea Dome® " an MMS approved Net Guard, was introduced in 2004. The dome-shaped guard allows trawler lines and nets to pass over it much easier than the old pyramid style protection, with less chance of lines getting caught. In addition, the smooth shape disburses water flow, protecting well heads from aggressive current action. The Wellhouse Net Guard The compact Wellhouse Net Guard is designed to fit over the wellhead protecting it from trawler lines and other subsea hazards. It is designed for easy, diver-assisted installation.
